Yes. A Project Leader may delegate responsibilities to an Assistant Project Leader. The Project Leader and Assistant Project Leader must sign the Assistant Project Leader Authorization Form in the Project Portal (on the Community Partners website). If necessary, a project can have more than one Assistant Project Leader.
Each Assistant Project Leader must attend a fiscal sponsorship orientation session. Orientation is offered each month. Please check with askus@CommunityPartners.zendesk.com to sign up for orientation.
Project Leaders may delegate any of the following responsibilities to an Assistant Project Leader:
- Signing check requests and income transmittal forms
- Reviewing grant agreements and grant contracts before Community Partners signs them on the project’s behalf
- Initiating independent contractor requests
- Requesting special event insurance certificates
- Reporting on lobbying activities
- Initiating request for review of Community Partners' signature on leases or other contracts
- Approving and signing expense contracts
- Purchasing travel through AMEX Travel Program
- Signing personnel timesheets (Assistant Project Leaders can't approve a supervisor's timesheet)
All requests to fill a position, onboarding forms, and change of status forms require Project Leader signatures before they are reviewed and approved by Community Partners. Project Leaders cannot delegate these responsibilities to Assistant Project Leaders or advisory boards.
