What do we need to tell Community Partners?
Project Leaders must be in regular contact with your program liaison – via phone, email, or in-person meetings – to discuss significant project activities prior to their occurrence. This includes hiring employees, recruiting volunteers, holding fundraisers or other events, selling merchandise, obtaining office space, among other activities.
Additionally, each Project Leader must submit an Annual Project Report once per year (Community Partners will email you a reminder and a link to the reporting form). Community Partners' Board of Directors reviews the progress of fiscally sponsored projects in each board meeting so even if you feel your project has been inactive or that you have been slower in achieving your objectives than anticipated, it is important to submit an Annual Project Report. We can best support you when we are aware of your activities, progress, and challenges. Community Partners staff are available to work with you to complete the report if you need assistance.
Where can we find information and forms?
Community Partners’ website includes an online portal specifically for project staff. It provides resources and information and allows you to add and change pay rates for staff, download deposit forms, request independent contractor agreements and in-kind contribution acknowledgments, reserve space for meetings, access our purchasing programs, and much more. To access the portal, you can login here. You can obtain the username and password from your program liaison.
How do we find out what's going on - and how do we share our news?
Community Partners sends out a monthly newsletter and an occasional human resources bulletin to project leaders, project staff, and project advisory board members. These are valuable resources that include important administrative news, pertinent articles, grant opportunities, tips and tactics, peer highlights, upcoming trainings and workshops, and community events. We encourage you to share your successes with us too -- awards, news coverage, research and reports, and more. You can keep our communications team up-to-date by emailing news@CommunityPartners.org.
