Intention: The Mutual Expectations are intended to help define the roles and responsibilities of Community Partners and the projects who partner with us to share a fiscal home based on a collective respect for one another’s time, resources and knowledge. The Mutual Expectations will provide a clarity of service as well as an accountable structure for both parties in order to make our partnership work.
Compliance dictates most of our operations at Community Partners. Compliance is the operating standard set forth by funders and government oversight to ensure we’re managing our money correctly. Without proper compliance, our shared 501(c)(3) status is in jeopardy, and we don’t want that! We will strive to always be as clear as possible and set processes that support all of us in ensuring we meet these standards.
Assumed Impact: We hope the Mutual Expectations provide project leaders with clarity, direction and inspiration for how we might better work together. This is a living document and your feedback is valued and welcome.
