What are project's responsibilities for pre-award grants?

Projects applying for a grant are responsible for the following:

• Establishing, building, and maintaining relationships with funders.
  
  
• Seeking and pursing funding opportunities.
  
  
• Preparing and submitting applications and budgets to Community Partners 5 business days in advance for review prior to submission to a funder. 
  
  
• Preparing and submitting applications to a funder (after receiving feedback from Community Partners).
  
  
• Using the project portal to retrieve supplementary documentation that must be submitted with application. 
  
  
• For grants with single EIN (Employee Identification Number) limitations, please inform Community Partners immediately of your intent to apply. Submit documents 5 business days in advance of the deadline for inclusion in joint funding application.
