What are project's responsibilities for insurance, lobbying, and nonprofit compliance?

Projects are responsible for the following:

Insurance

• Submitting  insurance requests as required for grants, contracts and special events/activities 10-15 business days in advance
• Participating in yearly insurance renewal process by informing CP of all projected project activity in the coming year

Lobbying

• Submitting all lobbying activity on a quarterly basis

Nonprofit compliance

• Notifying Community Partners if the project is considering fundraising activities that may violate a funder restriction (e.g., fundraising for elected officials).
• Notifying Community Partners of any activities involving liquor so the appropriate license can be obtained
• Requesting Certificates of Good Standing  10-15 business days in advance
• Notifying Community Partners of all out-of-state activities to ensure the appropriate licenses are in place
