Projects are responsible for the following:
- Developing job descriptions and recruitment of new hires
- Project leaders must require all non-exempt project employees to track their daily time via Community Partners’ payroll system
- Managers must approve time sheets by the deadline and provide supervision to project staff
- Projects are responsible for the cost of all project staff benefits
- Projects must adhere to laws governing employees and independent contractors and must consult with Community Partners Human Resource team to make determinations of employee or consulting status
- Projects must notify Community Partners regarding any steps taken to discipline or sanction employees
- Projects must submit timely submission of Change of Status (COS) for any changes to employees and/or conditions of employment (wages, hours, title)
- Projects must have at least six months of committed funding before staff members can be hired
