We suggest a little celebration dance! After that, you'll need to manage your donations according to type, as follows:
Make sure that all checks to your project are made payable to Community Partners for [Project Name]. Complete a Deposit Form, make a copy for your files, and mail or deliver the form and checks. Select the revenue code in the deposit form that best matches the type of revenue.
There are two addresses to mail checks to, one is for USPS (snail mail) and the other is for courier services (UPS, FedEx, etc).

To ensure accountability, please deliver cash contributions in-person to Community Partners along with a list of the names and addresses of the contributors and the amounts of each corresponding contribution.
Please do not mail cash to the addresses above. If you have cash you want to deposit, please convert it first to a personal check or money order and then mail it along with a deposit form to the address above.
Grants and Donations
When your grantmakers or donors mail checks directly to the Community Partners' lockbox, we do our best to inform you via email within three business days of receiving the check. (Please note that it is not unusual for grantors and donors to mail their checks several days after the date written on the check.) We'll provide you with the contact information from the check along with other pertinent information.
If you receive notification of a donation or grant from Community Partners, please make sure to send a thank-you letter to the funder or donor. This is an important best practice.
Also, please instruct your donors to include the name of your project on all checks that are mailed directly to the Community Partners' lockbox.
