Please note: A current and active contract is required for any contractor or consultant who provides services totaling $2,500 or more.

You can also follow these steps to request a contract in NetSuite.
Step 1:
- Login to NetSuite*
- From your Dashboard select Enter Purchase Order/Contracts
*Please note that only CP - Project Specific Authorized Users and CP - Project Specific Non-Finance Users can request a contract. (Click here to see detailed instructions for submitting a purchase order request).
Step 2:
- Enter the contract information including:
- Vendor Name (if the vendor is not in NetSuite and needs to be added, the vendor must submit a W-9 and be set up with ACH. Please send your vendor the following link:
Upon completion of this form, the vendor will be automatically created in NetSuite.
- Signatory Name and Signatory Email address
- Date
- Scope of work
- Contract start date and contract end date
- Payment schedule
- Add additional exhibits or other materials to the "drag files here" folder
- Project/business unit will default to your project name
- Complete the items*, hours, rate, grant, program, budget categories, and event
*Please note for items: If you are submitting for one project that is not paid by the hour, but a flat rate, the quantity should be “1”. Below is an example:
- Click "Save" to submit
Step 3:
- After the report is saved, the procurement team will create the contract and route it through Docusign for the necessary signatures. Once it is completed, a copy will be uploaded in NetSuite for your project to access.
